Scars to the child

Sometimes you wonder why a teen or an adult is wild, sexually or overly promiscuous.

 Children who have been exposed to sexual abuse are known to exhibit a greater number of sexualized behaviours, such as masturbating with an object or inserting objects into the vagina or anus. 

 Not in all cases though, but in some occasions those persons have an history of sexual abuse either at childhood or adolescence. 

Be aware that there are female offenders of sexual assault meaning females can be paedophiles as well. Their victims could be of male or female gender including children, adolescents and adults. 

Male sexual assault are not really pronounced in the society because of the unlikelihood of the male victim, themselves to disclose sexual abuse but that doesn't rule out the fact that male children are equally vulnerable to sexual abuse by a male of female paedophile.

The perpetrator is usually a known and a trusted caregiver. Some victims have their fathers as abusers even.

Physical force is rarely used, rather the perpetrator tries to manipulate the child’s trust and hide the abuse. 

The sexual abuse of children frequently occurs at repeated episodes, for many weeks or even years except for a quick intervention or close observation. 

These children are placed under severe pain during the intercourse as the penile thrusting affects the genital area causing injury and bleeding.

 In most occasions the children are not able to defend themselves. Their vulnerabilities are exploited and their trust breached. 

Victims find it very hard to regard themselves highly as they grow older because at the earlier stage of their lives they were not treated with love but rather as an object of pleasure.

Aside psychological problems the abuse leaves children with, i.e depression, withdrawal, poor self esteem, loss of social competence, inappropriate sexual behaviours, cognitive impairment; physical pain is experienced by the victims as their genitals are still tender and mature enough for an intercourse. 

Genital injuries are incurred, vaginal bleeding and vaginal or penile discharge is experience by prepubertal children and pain is experienced during urination.
