Paedophilia

 

“Don’t tell anyone, else I’ll ...” 

“I’ll tell your mom that you are a spoilt child, if you mention a word about this”

 “I’ll drive this knife in your tummy and reap your intestines out, if you let  a word out” 

Those are some of the threats, little girls receive from their abusers. 

Their bodies are being exploited forcefully, they go through a lot of afflicted pain in silence. 

You never will know a victim until the child is studied closely and brought closer. 

The child is left battered emotionally, psychologically and physically. Most of the victims live the rest of their lives with low self esteem and self worth.

 Victims are exposed to STDs, to physical and verbal abuse during the doleful experience and after the abuse, the young girl or boy usually, have their private parts severely injured, causing serious pain on the child. 

The Question is why would a normal human being derive pleasure in abusing kids, kids that cannot express themselves and don’t really understand their sexuality? Can this kind of wickedness be normal?

Paedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences an exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children (A prepubescent is any child who has not begun puberty, with age ranging from 10, downwards). 

A person must be at least 16 years of age and at least five years older than the prepubescent child, for the attraction to be diagnosed as Paedophilia. 

Paedophilia is manifested by persistent sexual thoughts, fantasies, urges or behaviours involving pre- pubertal children. 

Although Paedophilia shouldn’t be mistaken for Hebephilia and Ephebophilia as Hebephilia is strong persistent sexual interest by adults in pubescent children who are in early adolescence, typically age’s 11-14 and Ephebophilia, the primary sexual interest in later adolescents, typically ages 15-19.

A Paedophile is anyone who is sexually attracted to children. Most occasions they are familiar faces, family friends and relatives. Even parent can be paedophiles. 

One would wonder why and how they get an erection or horny basically just looking at a child, it is crazy to think. 

No cure has been found for this menace although therapy can help. No one can really give reasons for the attraction, but it is believed that psychiatric illnesses such as personality disorders and substances abuse are risk factors for acting on paedophilic urges.
